Score/ incidental music: orchestral music for atmosphere
Sound motifs:sounds associated with a certain character often a villain
Sound effects: Used for atmosphere
Voice over: often used to give the audience an insight of the characters thoughts

Digetic- what the character can hear
Synchronous sound: sounds that match what you see
Sound effect: realistic sounds that match what they see on scene
Dialogue: speech
Ambient sound: natural background noise
